6. WEE Directive

You must store WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment)
separately from all other waste
z
Electrical and electronical equipment can be given back to the producer
upon a new devices purchase
z
An improper use of electrical and electronical equipments can indirectly
cause atmosphere pollution and therefore have effects also on men’s
health. Such effects can carry to pollution in case of continuous improper
use or improper garbage disposal

The
symbol
on our products identifies the obligation to store the
equipments separately from all other waste and not to consider them as
urban waste
z
The WEEE Directive restricts the use of certain substances (lead,
mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and two flame retardants -
PBB and PBDE) in electrical and electronic products sold in the
European Union after July 1, 2006. European WEEE Directive
2002/96/EC on Waste of Electronic and Electrical Equipment has been
transposed in national law/legislation and become effective. The
manufacturers became financially responsible for the compliance to the
WEEE directive since 13 August 2005. Failure to comply with the WEEE
directive & national WEEE regulations will lead the manufacturers to
prosecution.
