A� er the forma t is c ompl et ed, y ou c an see that an ar r ay has been
cre ated in the ar r a y inter face.
The cre ated ar r a y is displ a y ed on the p hysic al i nter face,and hot spa re
se �ngs c an be performed.Select the ha rd disk th a t needs t o be used
as a hot spa re .A�er clicking the hot spa r e bu�on,the ha rd disk type
be c omes a hot spa r e disk. When the ha r d disk in the ar r a y fails,the hot
spa re .The spa re disk c an r eplace the failed ha rd disk t o back up da t a
t o a v oid da t a loss;click Del ete t o c ancel the hot bac k up func�on of the
ha r d disk.
Click C re ate Arra y ,name the ar r a y ,select RAID1 type,select at lea st
tw o ha rd disk s,and click OK.
RAID1: At least two hard disks are required to be created,and the
array capacity is only equal to the capacity of one hard disk
