Socket T/939/940 CPU Cooler, Model 702980. For easy
installation, simply follow whichever of the two sets of directions below is appropriate for your device.
For AMD Opteron, Athlon 64, Athlon 64 FX and Sempron installation:
1. Remove the cover
from the main unit.
4. Apply a thin layer of
thermal paste to the
CPU die surface.
2. Attach the K8 clip to
the bottom of the
cooler.
3. Screw the cover back
on.
5. Place the cooler on the
CPU die; set the clip in
one side of the holder
on the motherboard.
6. Then, lock the other
side of the clip from
left to right.
7. Connect the power
cable to the
motherboard.
8. Installation of the CPU
Cooler is complete.
