System Settings encompasses several sub-menus:
• TV Standard lets you set the signal for video output.
- Select “PAL” if it’s the primary TV broadcast system
used in your locale (europe, Australia, etc.).
- Select “NTSC” if it’s the primary TV broadcast
system used in your locale (U.S., Japan, Korea, etc.).
- Select “Auto” if you’re using a multi-system TV that’s
compatible with both PAL and NTSC standards.
• display Type lets you select the aspect ratio that best
suits your screen: 4:3 PS (pan/scan), 4:3 LB (letterbox)
or 16:9.
• Video Output lets you select between “CVBS+S-Video”
and “VGA,” whichever suits your viewing platform
better.
• Additional sub-menus let you select options for country,
language (including on-screen display, first and second
audio, and subtitles), time options (including time zone
and Daylight Saving settings), system updates and more.
