MANCORP POWERJET PRESSURE WASHER
WARRANTY POLICY
(Effective January 1, 2006)
Mancorp limited new product warranty
All Powerjet series pressure washers are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship under normal use and subject to the exclusions listed below. Any parts replaced under warranty will as-
sume the remainder of the parts warranty period.
Chassis
Frames and handles are covered by a 2 year parts warranty and a 1 year labour warranty and are limited to the exclu-
sions listed below.
Pumps
General pumps are covered by a 5 year limited warranty, Cat & AR pumps are covered by a 2 year limited warranty
and all a 1 year labour warranty (General & AR axial piston pumps are covered by a 1 year parts and labour warranty)
and are limited to the exclusions listed below.
Honda Engines
Honda engines are covered by a 2 year limited warranty(GC series engines are not warranted for commercial or rental
purposes). You must obtain warranty through an authorized Honda engine dealer or distributor and provide a copy of
the original invoice and engine registration form. Details of this limited warranty are found in the manual provided.
Electric Motors
Baldor and Marathon motors are covered by a 1 year limited warranty. You must obtain warranty through an authorized
dealer or distributor and provide a copy of the original invoice.
Limitations and Exclusions from Warranty
This warranty does not cover the following;
- Normal wear items, such as nozzles, guns, discharge hoses, wands, quick couplers, seals, filters, gaskets, o-rings,
packings, pistons, unloader and valve assemblies.
( These components are covered for 90 days parts and labour and are subject to the following exclusions).
- Damage or malfunctions resulting from accidents, abuse, modifications, alterations, incorrect installation, improper
servicing or failure to follow manufacturers maintenance instructions.
- Damage due to freezing, chemical deterioration, rust or corrosion.
- Damage due to fluctuations in electrical or water supply.
- Normal maintenance service, including adjustments, fuel system cleaning and clearing of obstructions.
- Transportation to service centre, field labour charges or freight damage.
What you must do to obtain Warranty
In order to obtain warranty from Mancorp you must return the defective product to your authorized dealer, freight pre-
paid, with proof of purchase, within the applicable warranty period. For warranty on failed components you must con-
tact our service department for instructions on the procedure that Mancorp sees practical. The failed component must
be returned freight prepaid to Mancorp for inspection before warranty can be granted. Prior to returning the failed com-
ponent Mancorp will, on approval, send out a replacement component and invoice for it. Warranty credit will be issued
upon the inspection of the failed component once it is returned. Engines and motors must be returned to your locally
authorized service centres for warranty and therefore Mancorp is not responsible for these claims.
Limitation of liability
Mancorp’s liability for special, incidental, or consequential damages is expressly disclaimed. In no event shall Man-
corp’s liability exceed the purchase price of the product in question. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the
installation and use of Mancorp’s products conform to local codes and safe practice. Mancorp assumes no responsibil-
