Frequently Asked Questions
Why isn’t my remote control working or lighting up?
Make sure your remote isn’t out of batteries or locked. To unlock your remote, follow the
steps on page 15.
My remote control is working, but my bed isn’t moving. Why?
Leave your adjustable bed base unplugged for at least an hour to reset it. You can also try
plugging your base into a different outlet to determine if it’s an outlet issue.
If your base still won’t move, check under your base to verify the connections are secure
and in the right place. You’ll find a wiring layout on page 17. If you’re still having trouble
after following these troubleshooting steps, please contact us.
Something on my adjustable bed base broke. What should I do?
It may be covered by your warranty. After setting up your bed, register your warranty by
going to www.maloufhome.com/register. By registering your warranty immediately, you’re
set up to get assistance in case you need it later.

20-Year Limited Warranty
What is Covered
This warranty is valid for 20 years from the date of original purchase
and covers defects in materials or workmanship with the conditions
and exceptions stated below. This warranty only applies to the orig-
inal purchaser residing in the U.S. and does not protect counterfeit
products or products purchased from unauthorized retailers.
What is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover: (a) wear and tear including stains; (b)
noises within tolerance; (c) repairs by unauthorized representatives;
(d) improper or inadequate maintenance, misuse, or alteration
(refer to owner’s manual for maintenance guidelines); (e) exposure
to chemicals, liquids, or fading caused by exposure to sunlight; (f)
damage resulting from assembly or handling (refer to owner’s manual
for assembly details); (g) damage to any type of furniture, flooring,
or floor covering; (h) commercial, institutional, business, rental, or any
other non-residential usage; (i) “as is” purchases including floor sam-
ples, clearance items, close-out products, or items from liquidators
or closing stores; (j) minor differences or finish variations due to the
craftmanship and natural materials used in the manufacturing pro-
cess; (k) normal changes in softness and resilience of foam, polyester
fiber, and other filling materials.
What Malouf™ Will Do
1 Year
– Warranty covers defects in the materials or craftsmanship.
Malouf™ will send replacement parts for any defective part and will
pay all authorized labor and shipping costs associated with the repair
or replacement. The original purchaser must follow troubleshooting
procedures set by the manufacturer or its agent before warranty
coverage may be granted.
2-5 Years – Warranty covers defects in the materials or craftsmanship.
Malouf™ will send replacement parts for any defective part. You will
be responsible for all labor and shipping costs associated with the
repair or replacement. The original purchaser must follow trouble-
shooting procedures set by the manufacturer or its agent before
warranty coverage may be granted.
6-20 Years – Warranty covers the metal frame and legs of the base
due to a manufacturing defect. Malouf™ will send a new frame if the
existing frame proves to be defective. You will be responsible for
all service, transportation, labor, and shipping costs associated with
the repair or replacement. The original purchaser must follow trou-
bleshooting procedures set by the manufacturer or its agent before
warranty coverage may be granted.

Please keep your receipt so we can process your request. We also
recommend registering your product here for quicker service. To
make a claim on a Malouf™ sleep system, submit information for both
your mattress and adjustable base.
How State Law Applies
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have
other rights which vary from state to state.
The foregoing warranty shall be exclusive and in lieu of any other
warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchant-
ability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties
otherwise arising by operation of law, course of dealing, custom,
trade, or otherwise. Malouf™ shall not be liable for any consequential
damages or losses arising from the purchase, installation and/or use
of this product.
