SAfETY INfORMATION
1. The unit must have a ground connection.
2. The unit should be placed on a stable and level surface and kept away from the
stove and other heat sources.
3. Keep in mind that the bread may catch fire in the toaster. Do not place the unit
near combustible materials such as curtains. Keep an eye on the toaster during
operation.
4. The device can give off some odour from the heating elements when you use it
for the first time, this is normal and will stop after a while.
5. Do not immerse the unit in water or other fluids.
6. Do not move the unit before it has cooled down completely.
7. Do not disassemble the unit or insert any sharp object into it.
8. Do not wind the power cord on the unit when in use.
9. Do not conduct repairs. If any malfunction occurs, please contact your supplier
for maintenance.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
11. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
12. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
13. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is oper-
ating, please do not touch it.
14. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
15. The device is intended for household use only and may only be used in the
manner specified in these instructions.
16. Do not insert bread slices that are too thick or foods wrapped in aluminium foil
to avoid electric shock or fire.
17. Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use.
