MAINTENANCE

Always disconnect the heating fan from the mains and let it cool down before
cleaning.
•
Wipe the surface with a soft damp cloth with a mild detergent. Be careful so
that no water enters the heating fan. Wipe with a dry cloth.
•
Petrol or solvents must not be used to clean the heating fan.
•
Let the heating fan cool down before storage. Place the fan in a dry and well
ventilated area.

OPERATION
1. Place the heating fan upright on a level surface and at a safe distance from
flammable objects.
2. Plug the heating fan to the wall socket.
3. Turn the temperature dial (2) to the MAX position and turn the function
selector (1) to full power (2000W). When the room has reached the desired
temperature, turn the temperature dial anti-clockwise until the thermostat is
heard to click off. The thermostat will now turn on and off the automatically
to adjust the room temperature to the set value.
4. When turning off the fan, the fan should be run in fan-mode only for 3
minutes to cool of the heating elements.
5. The fan is equipped with an overheating protection that shut down the fan
at dangerously high temperatures. The fan will automatically turn on after
cooling down to acceptable temperature.
When the heater is turned on for the first time it may emit some fumes. This is
normal and will disappear after a while. The fumes are due to the thin layer of oil
which the heating elements are protected with from the factory.
