On/Off switch

Push the switch-on lock (5) and the On/Off switch (6) at the same time. Then let go
of the switch-on lock (5).
•
You can control the rotational speed progressively with the on/off switch (6). The more
you press the switch, the higher the rotational speed of the battery-powered recipro-
cating saw.
•
To switch off the power tool, let go of the On/Off switch (6).
Attention: After switching off the device, the saw blade continues to rotate for
some time. Risk of injury!
To install saw blade (Fig. 1)
1. Remove battery first.
WARNING:
failure to remove battery pack from saw could result in accidental start-
ing causing possible serious personal injury.
2. Loosen the blade clamp screw enough to permit the saw blade to be inserted be-
tween blade clamp and saw bar.
Note:
It is never necessary to remove the blade clamp screw from the blade clamp
when installing or removing blade.
3. Align the hole in the shank of the blade and blade clamp with the pin in the saw bar.
4. Use a hex key to tighten the blade clamp.
Note:
Tighten screw securely.
5. Remove the hex key and store it for future use.
6. Replace the battery.
Note:
There may be times when the saw blade gets stuck to the blade clamp. If this
happens, loosen the blade clamp screw with the hex key, then tap lightly on the end
of the hex key with a mallet. (fig. 2)
