Program Knob (B)

Refer to the table on pages 11-12 to determine the right program for
your current wash load. Turn knob to select correct program.

Stop Position

To stop the machine after starting a program, turn the Program Knob to
the Stop position. When you interrupt a program by turning the dial to
Stop, the door lock remains engaged for a two-minute safety delay, after
which you may open the machine door. To restart the
machine, reposition the Program Knob and press Start (G).

If you wish to use the drying function only, turn Program Knob
to dry and set the drying time with the Drying Time button.

Note: Before starting a program, the machine will drain any

water already in the machine, so you may need to add detergent
before you press Start (G).

The program sequence indicator (V)

The indicator next to the “Start”
button lights up.
The program sequence indicator
shows the current program stage,
running from left to right through
Prewash, Wash, Rinse, Spin/Drain, End.

N.B.: The duration of the wash cycle can be influenced by a
number of factors such as: temperature and pressure of the feed
water and the quantity of washing in the drum. During the wash,
the machine’s electronics will automatically modify the time
necessary to complete the selected wash on the basis of these
factors. This will produce the best wash performance in the
shortest time period.

Delayed Start Button (R)

The washing machine is equipped
with a function that allows the start
of the wash to be delayed for up to
a maximum of 8 hours. The delay
time is selected as follows: each time
button (R) is pressed, the wash will be delayed by 1, 2, 4, 8 hours.
Once start button (G) has been pressed, either the selected LED or
button (R) will flash to indicate that the function has been enabled.
The washing machine will now automatically start the wash cycle after
having waited for the number of hours set.

(This function is also useful for users with off-peak

electricity).

Spin Select Button (S)

The machine offers a wide selection of spin speeds that can
be selected before starting the wash programme.
To change the spin speed, simply press button (S) until the
value required is displayed. The corresponding led will light
up each time the button is pressed. If the spin is to be
excluded, press the button until the led corresponding
to the No Spin  label, lights up.

NB. The maximum spin speed will vary according to the model
and is indicated in the technical characteristics table of the
washing machine. The maximum recommended spin speed for
each program is that displayed automatically when the wash
program is selected.

Pre-wash Button (E)

For heavily soiled items, press this button to run the pre-wash cycle. Be
sure to put detergent in the pre-wash compartment of the detergent
drawer. The button glows while the pre-wash cycle option is on.

Note: Pre-wash cannot be used with any Delicate program.

Add a Garment Button (A)

Option that allows more washing to be added even after the wash cycle
has been started.  It is only active when the button is light on.

Extra Rinse Button (F)

Select this option to add one extra rinse cycles.
The Extra Rinse Button glows when the option is on. See pages 11-12 for
information regarding the number of rinse cycles added to various programs
when you select this option. Recommended for those with soft water or
detergent allergies.

Note: Option not available with Quick Wash, Spin, and Dry
programs.

Timed Dry (D)

This button allows the drying time to be selected in minutes,
both in automatic mode (at the end of the wash cycle) and
in manual mode (with hand washing).
The set time is that indicated by the lit LED. If all the leds
are off, the drying cycle will not be effected.

(see table “RECOMMENDED DRYING

QUANTITIES ANDTIMES”).

Start Button (G)

Once you have set the wash program, drying time, and select the
buttons with the required functions, press this button  to
start the program. The relative indicator light (L) will light
up after  approximately 2 -3 seconds to indicate that
the door is locked and the wash programme has started.
