• The machine should be
connected only to a power
supply of the same voltage as
indicated on the nameplate, and
can only be operated on single-
phase AC supply. They are
double-insulated in accordance
with European Standard and
can, therefore, also be used
from sockets without earth wire.
• Avoid body contact with earthed
or grounded surfaces (e.g. pipes,
radiators, ranges, refrigerators).
Operation
• Avoid operating on wet grass.
Take particular attention when
working on wet grass to prevent
slipping.
• Hold the handle firmly with both
hands during operation. Keep
the handle dry and clean to
prevent accidents.
• Do not run. Only walk during
operation.
• Pay particular attention to your
footings when working on a
slope.
• Do not work straight up or down
on a slope. Always work along
horizontal line.
• Be especially careful when
turning the machine on a slope.
• Never work on a steep slope.
• Pay extreme attention when
reversing or pulling the machine
towards you.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper
footing and balance at all times.
This enables better control of
the machine in unexpected
situations.
• Never operate the machine while
people, especially children, or
pets are nearby.
• Always remember:
– Keep your feet away from
the cutting tools.
– Do not tilt the machine.
– Do not stand in front of the
discharge opening.
– Never let your hands or other
part of the body or clothing
place near moving parts.
• Do not force the machine. It does
the job better and safer at the
rate for which it was designed.
Frequent overload may cause
motor damage or fire.
• Switch off the motor and
unplug:
– Whenever leaving the
machine unattended
– Before clearing a blockage
or any fault
– Before checking, cleaning or
working on the machine
– Before making any
adjustments, changing
accessories or storing
– When the machine hits a
foreign object. Wait until
the machine cools down.
Inspect the machine and
replace the parts if needed
before continuing operation
– Whenever the machine
starts vibrating or making
noise unusually
– When attaching or removing
grass catcher
– When someone enters your
working area
