Using a 1-1/8” hole
saw, drill the hole for
the lock spindle. It is
drilled to the mortise
cavity.
If your mortise lock installation required
an inside thumb turn, use a 1/2” twist drill
and drill the required hole on the inside
of the door only.

Use a 1-1/4” hole
saw to drill the
mortise cylinder hole
on the outside of the
door. When all holes
have been drilled,
remove the HIT-66
drill guide from the
door. This is a prep
for a Falcon MA
series mortise lock
with rose trim. If in-
