type 105º C rated wire. Wire must have high temperature

Valve Plate Assembly Removal

It may become necessary for a qualified service techni

cian to remove the valve plate assembly for valve ser-
vice or replacement. This task should be performed by a
qualified service technician. The refractory panels
do not
need to be removed to access the valve plate assembly.

Turn off gas to
appliance before removing components. Support gas
line to prevent bending.
• Inspect for lifting or other flame problems.
• Verify batteries have been removed from battery back-up
to prevent premature battery failure or leaking.
