The incoming mail area on all locking Mail Boss
curbside mailboxes is located between 6-11” above
the bottom of the mailbox, depending on your
model. Please measure the height from the bottom of
your mailbox to the point of mail entry on your
specific model. Take that additional height into
account when setting your post and installing your
Mail Boss mailbox.
Standard USPS mailbox requirements state that;
“A mailboxes’ point of mail entry must be located between 41 – 45”
above the road surface, and that the front of the mailbox be
between 6-8” away from road edge. “
