2. Apply suitable insulation and sealing
material to the roof socket on the contact
surface to the MDR unit.
3. Carefully place the MDR unit on the roof
socket.
NOTICE:
Ensure seal integrity. For
MDR-PG variants
, ensure free intake with
the two tubes [5] and [20] – do not kink the
tubes.
4. Screw the MDR roof flashing to the roof
socket (Fig. B, position [X]). Provide suitable
mounting material (4 screws, tightening
torque 20 Nm).
5. Proceed as described in Chapter 9.2, steps
8 to 10.
10 Elbow [13] with locking device
Recommendation: For cable cross-sections
of 1.5 to 2.5 mm², pull the empty conduit
from the elbow (inner diameter max. 12 mm).
Guide the connecting cable first through the
empty conduit and then through the elbow
into the terminal compartment.
