1.  Adjust the grinding fi neness to the coarsest setting (11).

2.  Disconnect the grinder from the power supply system.

3.  Unscrew the two screws (13) on the grinder casing cover (12)

and then remove this cover.

4.  Take the shear plate (10) out of the slot of the pre-crusher (9).

5.  Pull the pre-crusher (9) off the motor shaft. Use a puller or

pliers.

6.  Clean the grinding mechanism with a fi ne brush and remove

any foreign objects.

7.  Remove the grinding discs from the grinder casing and the

pre-crusher using a screw driver.

8.  Clean the surfaces of the new grinding discs thoroughly and

screw them in position tightly and evenly.

No coffee particles may stick on the surfaces
touching each other. Otherwise the grinding
fi neness will deteriorate.

9.  Before pushing the pre-crusher (9) back onto the shaft again,

lubricate the shaft with non-corrosive, resin-free and food-
stuff compatible grease (e.g. Vaseline).

The shear plate has to slide in manually, no tools
should be used to force it into the slot.

The round side of the shear plate must point to-
wards the motor.

11. Lubricate the middle of the pre-breaker and the bearing in

the grinder casing cover.

12.  Clean the contact surfaces of the grinder casing and grinder

casing cover (12) carefully in order to remove any form of soil-
ing.

During re-assembly, no ground material is al-
lowed to be sticking to the surfaces where the
grinder casing and the grinder casing cover lie
on top of one another.

13.  Screw down tightly the grinder casing cover (12) with the two

screws (13) while changing the side several times.

14.  Reconnect to the power supply system.

15.  Before starting the grinder, make sure the grind adjustment

is set to coarse.
