As the owner of the vehicle you are responsible for maintaining
the vehicle in good condition & low emissions from the
vehicle.

Here are few tips for lower emissions from your vehicle

z

Maintain the recommended tyre pressure. Get the
tyre pressure checked perioidically.

z

Clean/replace the air filter at regular intervals.

z

Clean the fuel injector nozzles at recommended
intervals.

z

Change the engine oil/oil filters at recommended
intervals.

z

In case your vehicle is emitting excess smoke (Blue/
white / black smoke) get your vehicle checked
at authorized service station.

z

Allow your engine to warm up after a cold start.

z

Drive the vehicle in correct gears. Avoid
sudden  accelerations & decelerations.

z

Stop the engine if the engine has to idle for longer
duration.

z

Avoid clutch riding & check the clutch play.

z

Get your vehicle emission checked periodically.

z

Do not use adulterated fuel.

z

Use genuine parts & recommended oils & lubes.

z

Check/adjust the belt tension periodically.

z

Get the tappet clearances checked as recommended
(as indicated in maintenance schedule)

z

Do not tamper with the FIP Settings & idling rpm.

These tips would not only reduce your vehicle emissions but
also gives you better performance.
