2 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
2.1 Checks Before Starting a Journey
2.1.1 Check the Vehicle Outside
• Make sure to carry out the daily inspections before starting off
your vehicle
• Check the tyre inflation and wear. Clean the windshield and rear
glasses, side mirrors, and room mirror
• Make sure that the engine hood and tailgate are properly closed
• Make sure that there are no obstacles in the danger area
around the vehicle
• Make sure that there is not any trace of leak around the vehicle
• Check the state of various lamps
For details, refer to chapter 8"Service and maintenance
Check the part that can be viewed with your own eyes, such as
fluid leaks on the battery or radiator.
2.1.2 Inside of Engine Compartment
• Check the engine oil and other fluid/oil levels in the engine
compartment
• Check the washer fluid level and add if necessary
If the level of various types of fluids goes down very fast, have
the vehicle checked and serviced at a Mahindra Dealer or
Mahindra Authorised Service Centre.
