device must be selected (with the noted serial number from the section “Note
serial number”).
Press “Save / Next” (F8).

10 Confirm settings with “Save / Next” (F8).

The VCI can now be used for OBD communication (e.g. for exhaust emission
tests in Germany acc. to Guidelines 5).
