4.8 Reconfiguring Channels
a. Reconfiguring Channels Mid-Surgery
In some cases it may necessary to reconfigure the procedure channels mid-surgery.
The process for this is described below.
To re-configure the channels mid-surgery:
• From the monitoring menu, press
• Select the Channel Setting tab.
• Refer to "c. Procedure Settings" on page 49 to reconfigure you channels.
b. Configuring an 8-channel Procedure For a 4-channel Pre-Amplifier
This functionality may be used when you wish to configure an 8-channel procedure
before surgery, which is not supported by the connected 4-channel pre-amplifier as
standard.
Note: In cases where the monitoring is active, follow the instructions in section 4.9.
• Select or create a surgeon profile (see "a. Profile Management"). The procedure
management screen will then be displayed.
• Toggle 'Include Unsupported Procedures' ON ( ) at the top of the screen.
• Unsupported procedures can now be seen with the symbol.
• Select the desired procedure and press to duplicate that procedure. Type in
a name for this new procedure setup and press OK.
• This new procedure setup can now be edited by pressing .
• To configure the new procedure for use with the connected pre-amplifier, refer to
"c. Procedure Settings" on page 49 to reconfigure your channels.
