j. Impedance Check
Once the electrodes have been connected and the procedure is setup, the impedance
can be checked before the procedure begins;
• From the Monitoring menu (page 44), Press ,
• An indicator will show to the left of each channel window as can be seen below.
Green indicates the impedance is good.
Amber indicates the impedance is adequate, but not ideal.
Red indicates the impedance is poor.
• A good impedance level should always be expected. If impedance is not good,
check the electrodes and reposition until the indicator shows green.
• Once you have checked the impedance, press to begin monitoring.
