Progressive Scan
Progressive Scan doubles the vertical resolution of
the image resulting in a noticeably sharper picture.
Instead of sending a field comprising the odd lines to
the screen first, followed by the field with the even
lines, both fields are written at one time. A full image
is created instantaneously, using the maximum
resolution. At such a speed, your eye perceives a
sharper picture with no line structure.
Smart Picture
Smart Picture provides the optimum picture settings
for color, brightness, saturation, contrast, sharpness,
and so on, to enhance your overall viewing experience
at all times.
Multi-Point Digital Converge
Transporting a projection TV may cause its three
picture tubes to become misaligned. This can result in
noticeably poorer picture quality and color bleeding.
Multi-point digital convergence allow you to use the
remote control to adjust picture convergence
electronically at 35 points on the TV's screen using
the 'Convergence' section of the Picture menu. This
optimizes the picture from corner-to-corner to
minimize effects from natural or man-made magnetic
fields in the room where you locate your projection TV.
You always get the best possible picture.
Incredible Surround™
Incredible Surround is an audio technology from
Philips that dramatically magnifies the sound field to
immerse you in the audio. Using state-of-the-art
electronic phase shifting, Incredible Surround mixes
sounds from left and right in such a way that it
expands the virtual distance between the two
speakers. This wider spread greatly enhances the
stereo effect and creates a more natural sound
dimension. Incredible Surround allows you to
experience total surround with greater depth and
width of sound, without the use of additional
speakers.
Smart Sound
Smart Sound provides the optimal sound settings for
ultra bass, bass, treble and balance so that you can
get the best entertainment experience.
Auto Volume Leveler
The Auto Volume Leveler moderates sudden volume
increases when switching broadcast channels or
when commercials come on. It suppresses the
volume increases in the sound modulation. The Auto
Volume Leveler is great new feature!
