Electrical Input:
The P-70 unit is built to operate from several voltages (not field interchangeable), typically 115
volts or 230 volts, 50/60 hertz, single-phase. Line current draw at rated output (750 amps) is
approximately 26 amperes at 115 volts and 13 amperes at 230 volts. (Consult “Data Name-
plate” on specific unit for correct operating voltage.)
To obtain full rated output the following two conditions must be met:
1. Thirty (30′) feet of 4/0 cable (in a single loop) attached to the eitherend connectors on the
front of the unit. One end of the cable will be connected to the “Common” and the other
end will be connected to either “HWDC” or “AC”.
2. The power supply amperage and voltage must be as stated (or better) on the P-70 name-
plate.
Note: Using less than 30 feet of 4/0 cable will cause the machines output to be greater than
design. This will cause excessive load draw on the incoming power circuit and will overheat
and damage machine components.
Operating Manual and
Drawings
The manual is shipped with the unit in electronic format wrapped
in a green bubble wrap mailer within the Accessories Box. In the
manual is an extensive step by step process of how to assemble
the enclosure and attach it to the unit.
