3. For recess mount noses (see Figure 4a).
a. Place the spacer (G) in between the vertical strap and the heel of the nose.
b. Insert the 1/4”-20 x 1-3/4” long screw (D) through the hole in the nose, through the spacer and through the strap.
Fasten with one hex lock nut (F).
4. For flush mount noses (see Figure 4b):
a. Align the hole at the bottom of the vertical strap with the hole in the heel of the nose.
b. Insert the 1/4”-20 x 1” long screw (E) through the nose and through the strap. Fasten with one hex lock nut (F).
5. Final assembly (for all models; see Figure 5):
a. Locate the slots at the top of the vertical strap (A). Place one Z-bracket against the back of the vertical strap with
the short leg oriented towards the top. Insert one 1/4"-20 x 3/4" long screw (C) through the hole in the Z-bracket
and the vertical strap (finger tighten only for now). Adjust the upper Z-bracket upward against the bottom of the top
cross brace so that it is secure against the cross brace. Fasten with one hex lock nut (F).
b. Fully tighten all hex lock nuts (tighten all 1/4"-20 screws to 50-60 in.-lbs. of torque).
