Note
The scale formed inside the kettle affects the taste of water, also interferes with the heat
exchange between the water and the heating element, which can cause overheating and
damage to the appliance.
Warning!
» Do not use scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as alcohol, petrol
or acetone to clean the appliance.
» Do not move the appliance in any liquid, washing it under water jet or place in a dishwasher.
Descaling
Method 1
1. Fill the kettle to the MAX mark with a 2:1 mixture of water and vinegar.
2. Turn the appliance on and wait until the mixture comes to a boil and the appliance switches off
automatically.
3. Leave the mixture in the kettle for >7 hours.
4. Drain the mixture and fill the kettle with clean water.
5. Turn the appliance on and bring the water to the boil.
6. Drain the water.
Method 2
1. Fill the kettle with water up to the MAX mark.
2. Add 25-50 grams of citric acid.
3. Turn on the device and wait until the mixture boils and the device automatically turns off.
4. After 15 minutes again turn on the device and wait until the mixture comes to the boil and the
device switches off automatically.
5. Drain the mixture and fill the kettle with clean water.
6. Turn the appliance on and bring the water to the boil.
7. Drain the water.
Storage
1. Unplug the unit.
2. Clean it and thoroughly dry the unit before taking the unit for storage.
3. Wind the power cord.
4. Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.
