5.2. charging the battery
To charge the integrated lithium ion battery, switch the camera off and connect the
USB cable to the USB port on the
camera. Connect the other end of
the USB cable to the USB port on a
computer with USB 2.0 or higher or
a 5V and at least 500 mA USB mains
adapter.
When charging is in progress the
charge indicator will light up red and
will go out as soon as the battery is
fully charged.
5.3. Using the underwater housing
By using the underwater housing supplied, you can shoot underwater with the Action
Video Camera, down to depths of 10 metres.
Make sure that the inside of the underwater housing is clean and dry before you put
the video camera in it. In particular, check that there is no dirt on the seal and the seal
is undamaged before each use.
Make sure there is a memory card in the video camera and the mode switch is set to
your desired shooting mode.
The camera shouldn‘t be used more than one hour underwater to prevent any damages.

It takes a maximum of 4 hours for the battery to charge fully.

In order to determine whether the underwater housing is watertight, you can carry out the following test:

Close the underwater housing without a camera inside. Then completely immerse it under water for around
1 minute. After removing it, dry the outside of the housing and then open the housing. If the inside is dry
then the housing is sealed.
