Note: For most people, the simplest, and most effective method of rotating the SporTrak
Color, is to use one finger and push the receiver around in a clockwise manner.

EXTENDED CALIBRATION

ation r outine is no t suf ficient. This can occur if t
he
SporTrak Color has been vibr
ated or dr opped. The mos t common indication t
hat
e xtended calibr ation needs t o be per formed is dur ing t he basic calibr
ation r outine y ou
are unable t o le vel t he bubble.

Remo ve t he SporT rak Color fr om an y cr adle it ma y be in and la y it do wn f ace up
on an y flat, nonme tal sur face. Also y ou should no t be mo ving (i.e., in a car or
boat in mo tion) while calibr
ating t he com pass. This will af
fect t he calibr ation
causing err ors in t he com pass output.
