Push the rocker switch 3 forwards and hold it.

The saw drive starts, and the machine
stays in its position.

Use the plunge bar 4 to press the saw unit into
the workpiece until it engages with the clamping
lever 6.
8.
Keeping the rocker switch 3 pressed, slowly
increase the feed speed using the rotary switch
1.

The saw unit now cuts through the
material until it reaches the stop slide 7.
The latch is now released, and the saw
blade swings back into the fixed blade
guard.
➢
Release the rocker switch 3 when the
plunge cut is finished. The saw drive
stops.
9.
Use rocker switch 3 to return the saw unit and
its saw blade to the home position.

The plunge cut is complete.

Scoring
The integrated scoring device of the panel saw system allows splinter-free cuts of overlaid boards. The saw
blade is offset by only ca. 0.15 mm [0.01 in] to the cutting path.
Use the following procedure to use the scoring
function of the machine:
1.
Turn the scoring lever 8 to the “scoring”
position.
2.
Set the cutting depth to 2 mm.
3.
Make the scoring cut.
4.
Then move the saw unit back to its starting
position.
