Daily Start-Up Check
Perform this procedure before operating the machine.
CAUTION
•
Ensure that the tractor and the header are properly attached, all controls are in neutral, and the tractor brakes are
engaged.
•
Clear the area of bystanders, pets, etc. Keep children away from the machinery. Walk around the header confirm
that no one is under, on, or close to it.
•
Wear close-fitting clothing and protective shoes with slip-resistant soles. Have at hand any protective clothing and
personal safety devices that MIGHT be necessary throughout the day. Don't take chances when it comes to safety.
•
Remove any foreign objects from the machine. Clear any obstacles that might interfere with the operation of the
machine.

Check the machine for leaks or any parts that are missing, broken, or not working correctly.
NOTE:
Use the proper procedure when searching for pressurized fluid leaks. For instructions, refer to
2.
Clean all lights and reflective surfaces on the machine, and check the lights to ensure that they are operating correctly.
