Feed Auger Optimization for Canola- Spring Tension
• Decrease spring tension to allow feed auger to “Float Up” for higher throughput
• Decrease LH and RH feed auger spring tension by loosening tensioning bolt
until 15mm (.60 inches) of thread remains on the end of the tensioning bolt
from the end of the bolt to the nut.
• Ensure top jam nut is locked to new setting

Upper Cross Auger for Straight Cut Canola
• An Upper Cross Auger is necessary to aid in conveying and assist moving
crop laterally in conjunction with the side drapers to the feed auger
B4847 - 30’ (9.1m)
B4848 - 35’ (10.6m)
B4849 - 40’ (12.2m) and 45’ (13.7m)
If you already have an Upper Cross Auger, ensure that the center paddles are
outfitted with carriage or couch head bolts to prevent crop wrapping.
