Grass cutting
NOTE - This machine lets you mow lawn in different ways; before starting work, prepare the
machine based on how the lawn is to be mowed.
DO THIS WHEN THE MOTOR IS OFF.
[1] Preparation for mowing and collection in grass-catcher
Lift the rear stone-guard (1) and fasten the grass-catcher (3) correctly as shown in the
illustration.
[2] Preparation for mowing and rear grass discharge
Remove the grass-catcher and make sure that the rear stone-guard (1) remains secu-
rely in place .
[3] Starting the engine
For start up, follow the instructions in the engine manual, then pull the blade brake lever
(1) against the handle and firmly pull the knob on the starter cable (2).
[4] When work is finished
When work has been completed, release the brake lever (1) and disconnect the spark
plug cap (2).
On models where it is provided, remove the starter key (3).
WAIT UNTIL THE BLADE STOPS before making an adjustments to the lawnmower.
