6.  Hold the product securely to the ground. Place your left hand on the front handle (5) 

and additionally secure the product with your right foot (Fig. 22).

7.  Pull the recoil starter handle (15) slowly with your right hand until you feel a definite 

resistance and then give it a brisk, strong pull. Repeat until the engine attempts to 

start but no more than 4 times.

8.  If the engine does not start, fully push in the choke knob (7) (Fig. 23).

9.  Pull the recoil starter handle (15) briskly and strongly. Repeat until the engine starts.

10. Squeeze the throttle trigger lock-out (8) and throttle trigger (10) and release them.

11. Let the product run in idle for 1 to 2 minutes to let it warm up.

12. Disengage the chain brake (4).

13. To start cutting, grip the product with both hands, left hand holding the front handle (5) 

and the right hand holding the rear handle (9).

Engine warm start

1.  Place the saw where it does not come into contact with any objects. 

2.  Engage the chain brake (4).

3.  Pull out the choke knob (7) (Fig. 21) then fully push in the choke knob (7) (Fig. 23), 

in order to partially open the throttle for easy starting.
