4.1 Tractor drive
A tractor-powered splitter is connected to
the tractor's cardan shaft. To connect the
machine to the cardan shaft, you need to
move the protective cover A (Combi model)
of the electrical connector and angle
transmission into a position where it covers
the electrical connector.
A single person must connect the cardan
shaft to the splined shaft B of the angle
transmission. The tractor cabin must be
free of people in order to prevent
accidental contact with the controls while
the log splitter is being connected to the
tractor. Check all connecting devices of the
tractor and log splitter before connecting
them. Never use faulty equipment.
