The unit is intended to be mounted to an outdoor
type outlet box.  The box must be supported by the
building structure and must conform to the National
Electrical Code and local electrical codes.

BULB INSTALLATION

(1)   Do not touch the

bulb while it is in
use or still hot.
Allow it to cool
(about 5 minutes)
before touching it.

(2)   Do not use the bulb

rated higher than 60
watts.

(3)   Disconnect the

power cord or wall
switch.  Unscrew
the top cover to
remove the bulb for
replacing new
bulb.(FIGURE 3)

(4)   Screw back the top

cover.

INSTALLATION

To facilitate installation,
it is essential to get a
drill and a screwdriver
ready.  Select a
location for the unit
based on the coverage
angles shown in
FIGURE 4.

Install a wall switch adjacent to the power source.
(FIGURE 5)  This helps

 

you operate AUTO and

MANUAL OVERRIDE with ease. See page 5 for further
information.

WIRING INSTRUCTION

(1)   Switch off the power source.
(2)   Route the power cord through the rubber seal.

 

Note

: The power cord must meet H05RN-F, 3G,

1.0mm

²

 requirement.

(3)   Fix the wall box to the pre-determined mounting

location by making use of the two screws provided.

(4)   Strip approximately 6-8mm insulating part of the

wires from the power cord. Before connection,
ensure that the wall box gasket is firmly seated in
its original place.

(5)   Connect the live supply from the household

lighting circuit to the input of the wall switch.
 

     Connect the output wire of the wall switch to the

BROWN wire in the terminal block inside the lamp
fixture base.

      
     Connect the neutral wire of the household lighting

circuit to the BLUE wire in the terminal block.

 
     Connect the household earth wire to the earth

position of the terminal block. (FIGURE 6a & 6b)
