the gasket surface and use a new gasket.

Wipe off any grime from the threads and tighten

to the specified torque.

Air filter cleaning

Remove the front cover by removing the screws.

Remove the air filter case cover by unhooking

the fasteners

Remove the air filter element by unhooking the

fasteners.

Wash the air filter element gently but totally in

solvent.

Press the excess solvent out the air filter element

and let it dry.

Check the air filter element. If damage, replace it.

Apply foam air filter oil or other quality foam air

filter oil to the air filter element. If foam air filter

oil is not useful, SAE 10W30 motor oil may be used.

Equip the air filter element, the air filter case cover

and the front cover.

Air intake restrictor plate remove

To get full engine performance ability, removing the air

intake restrictor plate is required.

Remove the air filter element.( see air filter cleaning

for remove and installation procedures)

Remove the air intake restrictor plate.

Equip the air filter element.

Carburetor adjustment

The carburetor is a principal part of the engine

and requires very complex adjustment. Most

adjustment should be left to your dealer who

is professional and experienced on this.
