Devicesendsapackettothetargethostandasksforaresponse.If
thedevicereceivesaresponsefromthetargethost,itcanthensee
thenetworkresponsetimeandconnectionstatusbetweenthelocal
deviceandtargethost.Mustberunfromthecommandline.
netstat
Displaysdetailsofcurrentactivenetworkconnectionsincluding
routingtableandnetworkinterfaceinformation.Canalsobeused
tocounttheactivenetworkconnections.Mustberunfromthe
commandline.
tracert
Displaysthepathtakenbyapacketbeforereachingthetargethost
andthespecifictimewhenitreachedeachnode.SimilartothePing
commandbutprovidesmoredetailedinformation.Displaysthe
entirepathandIPaddressofeachnodeinthepathandtotalelapsed
tim.Mustberunfromthecommandline.
