Adjusts the sound volume. The sound volume is lowered

The volume control of the main unit rotates.
20. Mute (MUTE)
Mutes the sound temporarily. Pressing this switch activates
the mute function and the sound volume indicator blinks
resulting in no sound generated. Pressing this switch again
sets the mute function to off, and sounds are generated.
21. CD/SACD player operation switch
(CD PLAYER)
This switch is used to control the corresponding CD/SACD
players.
The corresponding CD/SACD players are the following models:
D-N150, D-380, D-08u, D-06u, D-05u, D-08, D-06, D-05, D-10,
D-7, D-600 and D-700S as of January 2019.

Remote control
The remote control shall be aimed at the remote sensor of
this unit within the specified angle range shown in the illus-
tration.
Dry cell
[How to load dry cells]
1. Put your finger on the battery cover claw on the rear of the
remote control, and slide the cover downward while holding
the claw down to open the cover.
2. Put the provided AAA batteries in the battery case as shown
in the illustration in the battery case.
3. Close the battery cover.

• Do not use a new battery and an old one together.
• There may be a case in which the voltages are different be-
tween two batteries even though their shapes are the same.
Do not use the batteries of different types together.
• If the remote control is not used for a long time (more than 1
month), the batteries shall be removed from the case. If the
battery liquid is leaking, wipe away the liquid from the case
before inserting new batteries.
• To discard exhausted batteries, follow the instructions of
each local authority.
