Storage
– Store the device in a dry and well ventilated area.
– Do not store the device within the reach of chil-
dren.
– The collection bag must be cleaned prior to stor-
age, every time.
After it has been taken out of operation for a long
time (30 days or more)
– Start the motor and allow to run until the motor
switches itself off.
– Replace the fuel-oil mixture (see
– Check the spark plug and replace if required.
Transportation
– Only transport the device with an empty tank.
– Only transport the device when the motor has
cooled down.
– Secure the device from shifting.
– When dispatching, try to use the original pack-
aging, if possible.
Disposal
Disposing of the device
This device may not be disposed of with the house-
hold waste! Ensure it is disposed of professionally.
Information can be obtained from the relevant waste
disposal authorities.
Disposing of the packaging
The packaging is made of cardboard and separately
labelled foil which is also recyclable.
Disposing of fuel-oil mixture
– Dispose of fuel-oil mixture properly. Do not dis-
pose of with the household waste.
Troubleshooting
What to do when something doesn't work…
In many cases, small defects can lead to a malfunc-
tion. You will usually be able to deal with these your-
self. Please consult the following table before con-
tacting the store department. This may save you a lot
of effort and quite often money.
