• When working, never direct the device
towards persons or animals.
•
Never attempt to remove vacuumed material
or hold onto material being vacuumed while
the motor is running.
Remove trapped material
only after the device has been switched off.
• In the vicinity of 15 m around the vacuuming
area there should be no people or animals as
they may be hurt by flying objects.
• Only work with good light and visibility.
• Never work at above head level! Do not bend
forwards or lean over backwards!

The clothing of the operator should be close-
fitting.
Avoid wearing loosely fitting clothing.
Wear sturdy footwear and long work trousers.
• Pay attention when walking backwards. Dan-
ger of stumbling!
• Never work in the rain.
• Vacuuming, blowing of heavy materials such
as metal, stones, branches, pine cones or
broken glass is expressly forbidden.
Handling fuels
Fuels are flammable and explosive. Avoid the risk
of explosion and fire:
• Switch off the motor and allow to cool down
before refilling.
• Attach the collection bag before filling.
• Smoking and any other naked flame is forbidden
when handling fuels.
• Only store and mix fuels in authorised and
clearly labelled canisters.
• Keep fuels under lock and key. Fuels may vapor-
ise even at ambient temperatures and may col-
lect at floor level in closed rooms (risk of explo-
sion).
• Start the appliance several metres away from the
place you tanked it.
• Fuels are poisonous! They contain substances
that are poisonous on contact and which are
capable of causing damage over time. Observe
the care measures in order to prevent the sub-
stances entering the body.
• Only refill the device or transfer fuel-oil mixture
from one canister to another out in the open or in
a well ventilated space.
• Do not breath in the fuel vapours.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• When transferring fuel, use gloves.
• If fuel-oil mixture gets onto clothing, change
clothes immediately. Clean the clothing before
you wear it again.
• Store fuel out of the reach of children.
If used incorrectly, fuels may damage the envi-
ronment:
• Transfer fuel-oil mixture carefully. Fuel-oil mix-
ture may not enter the soil or the sewer system.
• Remaining fuels must be disposed of correctly.
Never dispose with the household waste.
• Fuels may only be stored for a short time. Only
purchase amounts that will be used within a few
months.
