5.1 Current power input
Safety precautions
Never connect the live power on the input terminals of the StarLine led-
profile!
In case of doubts, contact your point of sale.
Polarity
The StarLine led-profile is polarity sensitive. So observe polarity and cabling:

Red inner conductor = positive
•
Black inner conductor = negative
Improper connection might damage the StarLine led-profile and power
supply permanently. In case of inversed polarity, the warranty is void.
Power supply: Rated current
The rated input current of the StarLine Led-profile is 350mA. There are no
electronics on board. Please note, never apply a 12 V or 24 V DC to the
units. This will damage the units permanently. Verify that the power supply
has a current controlled output. If you are not sure do not connect the
power supply! In case of doubt, please contact your point of sale.
Applying power
Make sure to connect the StarLine led-profile first, before applying power,
otherwise the StarLine led-profile can be damaged.
Cable
Please ensure yourself that the cable end is watertight sealed at the
connection. If this is not properly done, water can pass through the inner
conductors of the cable and damage the internal parts of the StarLine led-
profile.
