The external wall air diffuser ALD serves as a passive airflow for living rooms and
bedrooms. It is mainly used in combination with LUNOS Silvento range of exhaust
air units. With base load operation of the exhaust fans in the functional rooms such
as bathrooms and kitchens, a constant negative pressure is created and in this way
fresh air is transported into the house via the ALD.
LUNOS is now using a multi-component foam for the ALD. Due to the manufac-
turing process, a high specific weight of the foam and a reduction of penetrating
noise over a wide frequency range can be achieved. The standard three polyhedral
sound absorbers can be supplemented by further elements. The supplied wind
pressure safety device protects against uncontrolled draughts.
The air volume can also be reduced or adjusted as required for each living room or
bedroom by means of a supplied volume flow damper.

The built-in device is inserted into the round duct 9/R 160 (ø 162 mm) and installed
with a slight gradient to the outside in the outer wall.
An electrical connection is not required, since the ALD is not motorised.
