Chapter 3: Reviewing Images and Video Clips

Function

Images can be rotated 90˚ clockwise or counterclockwise

on the LCD monitor. This is useful for viewing pictures

that were taken with the camera held vertically.

Converting images to a size smaller than original.

To crop an area from an image.

To remove red eyes from the subjects in images that were

taken with a flash.

REPLACED

"IMAGE EDIT".

To remove red eyes from an image, select

"REMOVE RED EYES" and then press "OK".

The red-eye removal process takes a few

seconds.

Select "NEW" to save the changes as a new

file. Or select "REPLACED" to save the

changes to replace the original image.

Press "OK" button to confirm the setting.

Note : The removal red eyes option is only

available for still pictures that are taken

with a flash.
