Vacuum assist technology gently
pulls skin up into handpiece. Skin
senses vacuum pressure instead of
laser pulse.
Skin is stretched thin. Hair is pulled
closer to energy source.
Density of melanocytes in skin is
reduced. Less energy will be
absorbed by the epidermis.
Vacuum pressure temporarily
compresses tissue and surrounding
vessels.
Blood is temporarily displaced. Less
energy will be absorbed by
oxyhemoglobin.
Less energy is lost to competing
chromophores. More photons are
able to reach target melanin in hair,
which absorbs the energy.
Heat builds up, damages hair
follicle and its ability to regrow.
