Adding the
Sanding Paper
With the
Velcro
Base (11) mounted, the machine can be used as a
triangular sander and sand on materials of eg wood and metal. The
machine is not intended for water sanding.
Choose a sandpaper (12) with a grain size that is suitable for the job.
Use sandpaper with a small grain size for coarse sanding and sandpaper
with a large grain size for finer sanding.
Press the sanding paper against the surface of the sanding sole and check
that it is firm.
Make sure that the opening in the plate is placed over the tail in the sole.
Put the sanding sole against the workpiece. Give the machine time to
work. It is necessary to press the sanding sole against the surface being
sanded.
The triangular shape of the sandpaper gives you the opportunity to
breathe into the horns with the sanding sole. If the tip of the sandpaper
becomes worn, you can remove the sandpaper from the sanding sole,
turn it 120 °,
then
put it back on.
