LUMATEK HID SERIES REFLECTOR
Thank you for purchasing a new and exciting product from Lumatek. You are now in
possession of one of the best horticultural reflectors available. All of our reflectors
undergo strict quality control at all stages of production to ensure that you will receive
a product that performs at the highest levels of expectation. To ensure safe and effective
use please read the complete assembly instructions with great care before attempting to
either assemble or connect to your lighting system.
Safety
• Please be aware that whilst undergoing strict quality control all Lumatek reflectors are
made from or contain sheet metal components and as such may contain sharp edges.
We recommend that protective gloves are worn whilst assembling and handling all of
our reflectors.
• Lumatek reflectors should only be used with HID Lamps and suitable power packs up
to 1000w. Certain reflectors can be used with CFL lamps, if unsure please consult your
local supplier.
• When connecting to the rest of your lighting system please ensure that it is isolated
from the power supply.
• Please ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the immediate area surrounding the
reflector, under no conditions should you cover the reflector.
• There are no user serviceable parts inside the reflector, if a problem occurs please
return the reflector to the supplier that you purchased it from. Any tampering will
invalidate the reflectors guarantee.
• During use the lamp and reflector will reach very high temperatures and under no
circumstances should they be touched. Please leave the reflector to cool for 30
minutes and isolate from the power supply before handling the shade or bulb.
• Please keep the reflector away from Children, pets and water.
• Lumatek reflectors are only suitable for indoor use.
Installation
• Before assembly please remove all packaging and protective films.
• Please ensure power supply to the lighting system is isolated before connecting the
reflector.
• Ensure the lamp is securely in position before system turn on, we recommend the use
of protective gloves for this operation. Ensure all marks/fingerprints are removed from
the bulb before turn on.
