General Maintenance

7. Remove the oil filter (1) and clean the filter sealing surface.

8. Apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to the new filter mating surface.

9. Install the new oil filter and hand tighten. Use an oil filter wrench or strap to

tighten the filter down another 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
