This kind of output indicates that the gateway is not “listening” or is not configured with
the correct IP address and socket number.

Displaying Session Information

When the SS7 gateway is active and a session is established, use the show netconns
command to display session information. The following output to the show netconns
command shows that slot 1 and slot 2 (handles S2 and S1) have established sessions
with the gateway:
