ured as part of an N:1 protection group.

Working

Indicates that the module is configured as a
working module.
The working slots are 3–12 for N:1 protection
groups. The working slot is 4 for a 1:1 protection
group on the PSAX 1000.

Protection

Indicates that the module is configured as a pro-
tection module.

The Protection slots are 13 and 15 for N:1 protec-
tion groups. Slot 15 is the only slot available for
1:1 protection on the PSAX 1000.
