MAP/100P RAID System Recovery - 8

Recovering from Removing the Wrong Hard Disk Drive

The system displays a diagram showing all of the drives and there status. Two or
more of the drives will be marked DED.

Select:

Make Online

The system displays the following message:

This procedure could corrupt system data. Do you want to

continue?

Yes

Select:

Yes

Press ESCAPE.

Reboot the system

The system will report errors related to the failure. The system should be fully
operational.

NOTE:

If the hard disk drive you incorrectly removed is not marked DED, exit the utility by
pressing ESCAPE. The system should successfully boot.

Continue, press PAGE DOWN.
