Establishing the Connection

To establish connection settings to a CMS server, you must use the Options
dialog box. The Options dialog box displays with the CMS Servers tab active
(this is the only active tab).
To establish a connection, do the following:
1. If you want to connect manually, select the Manual Login check box. If
you want to connect automatically, do not select the Manual Login check
box.
2. Since this is a new connection, select New. The Server Properties window
appears.
3. Do one of the following:

If you are going to have a Network connection, continue with the
“Network” section on
page 5-5 .
●
If you are going to have a Serial connection, continue with the “Serial”
section on
page 5-7 .
●
If you are going to have a Modem connection, continue with the
“Modem” section on
page 5-8 .
